The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference by Malcolm Gladwell

The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference by Malcolm Gladwell
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This is a light and fast read. Well, in my case, it was a light and fast listen. I listened to the abridged audiobook. I liked the parts where he provided information or theories from experts. When he added his own speculations, I wasn’t so convinced. Although, I do have the benefit of knowing how the future went for some of his predictions.

It was interesting and entertaining in the same way that it is interesting and entertaining to have a casual conversation with a friend about society or a trend. He has stripped down the studies to the catchiest (or, in his words, stickiest) parts. If it’s a low stakes conversation, then it’s a curiosity. If it’s high stakes, then maybe it’s frustrating, but it could point you in a direction for further research.
